This application has all of the functions of the ER-X5 handheld electronic dictionary with the exception of pronunciation / voice synthesis. Users can now familiarize themselves with the powerful linguistic features of this electronic dictionary and assess them in action. The basic English<->Russian<->English bidirectional dictionary of more than 1,000,000 words includes American idioms, medical, technical, legal and business terms, as well as common expressions and slang. The MorphoFinder™ function helps you find words for English past participles, gerunds, plural forms and for Russian adjective forms. The transcription for English words is given in all dictionaries. Partner X5 features a highly efficient full text translation program Lingvobit™. An English language dictionary and a Russian-German bidirectional dictionary are also included. The section for the learners of English includes an electronic English grammar book, a comprehensive TOEFL guide with sample tests, a linguistic game, a list of English irregular verbs and Learning Cards (flash cards) for easier words memorizing. A 2MB bilingual organizer includes a telephone directory, a memo, a calendar, a schedule, an anniversary list, an account manager, currency and metric converters, and a password access function. You can exchange data between your Partner X5 and a personal computer to keep a backup copy of your organizer data. The shorthand function allows you to make notes with the stylus quickly. The comprehensive reference section features Travel Guide, English Names List, Local and World time with map illustration and Telephone Codes for more than 4,000 cities all over the world.
